CHERRY SMOOTHIE BOWL

I love smoothie bowls, as you know if you’ve read this post. I could eat smoothie bowls for breakfast, lunch, and dinner – all day, every day. They’re so delicious, and I love that you can mix together whatever you feel like, and still call it a smoothie bowl.

A few days ago, I made a really yummy cherry smoothie bowl, that I topped with a raw bar from the Swedish brand Getraw. In this post, I’m sharing the recipe of it!

Cherry smoothie bowl

Cherries are naturally very sweet, so this smoothie bowl is definitely something for the one with a sweet tooth!

As promised, here comes the recipe:

For 1 person.

  • 1 big, ripe banana (preferably organic).
  • 250 grams of frozen cherries.
  • Almond milk, as much as you want.

+ A couple of fresh dates if you have an extreme sweet tooth. As I mentioned, cherries are naturally sweet, and as are bananas – so I really don’t think that dates are necessary in this smoothie bowl… But hey, your choice!
+ A pinch of vanilla powder, if you feel like it, (also adds a bit of sweetness, so don’t go overboard).

As toppings I used sliced kiwis, shredded coconut and one Chocolate & Walnut rawbar from Getraw.

Getraw – the best raw bars

I gotta say, that I’ve been obsessed with the rawbars from Getraw ever since they were launched a few years ago. I used to buy them whenever I was in Sweden, but nowadays they’re also available in Finland (which is awesome), meaning I can buy them whenever I want.

Chocolate & Walnut is my absolute favorite flavor of the rawbars (they’ve got four different flavors in their sortiment), and I often use it as a topping on smoothie bowls, like I did for this cherry smoothie bowl.

Recently Getraw launched also launched a new product in their sortiment, “smulis“, or smulpaj as they’re really named. But I’ll review those product in another post, stay tuned ♥
